Dr Andrew Png was born in Malaysia but immigrated with his family at a young age to Western Australia where he was raised and educated.  Andrew attended the University of Western Australia where he studied Medicine. In 1999 Dr Png became a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice.  Since this time, Andrew has dedicated his life to providing excellence in general practice. 

Andrew has been driven in his efforts to educate and mentor GP’s of the future and has trained over 17% of all registrars in the past 10 years.  Andrew is a well respected member of the medical profession sitting on various Boards such as WA a Board Member of Western Australian General Practice Education and Training (WAGPET) and Chair from 2004 to 2006.

Andrew is a Faculty Board Member of the WA RACGP from 2016 to present and a prior RACGP Board Member. Dr Png is a Council member of the West Australian, Australian Medical Association,

Education and providing outstanding leadership and supervision has been just one of Andrew’s passions. He is an accredited supervisor for the AGPT RACGP (and prior WAGPET) PGPPP supervisor, AHPRA supervisor, RVTS Supervisor and in 2020 Andrew was awarded supervisor of the year
